The potency of first hand experience
Double 9s
Frequently, operational activities fail to achieve their maximum potential due to the setting of targets which just aren’t ambitious enough
Professional shortfall
Leadership in operations is a skilled profession, playing a critical role in bottom-line delivery. The value of professional excellence in this area is frequently underestimated. knowing you have the correct capabilities and how to nurture those skills is the foundation for improvement
Do it to yourself
… before it’s done to you. Operations teams are seldom self-critical enough, it is uncommon for them to push their creative boundaries to the fullest. Perhaps they are understandably distracted by hectic day-to-day operations. Deploying techniques of self-challenge is key to staying one step ahead of the next emergency and facilitating the differentiation possible
Real world coaching
Few organisations value the importance of developing their operational teams sufficiently. Would you accept mediocrity in other disciplines?
Operational governance
Most operational failures can be traced back to preventable, predictable circumstances. Rarely is operational governance robust enough. Powerful learning is often available and easily tested
Supply partnerships
Organisations rarely understand their exposure to upstream supply risks, further exacerbated by undervaluing genuine opportunities for commercially creative skin in the game supply partnerships
Deliberately boutique
We are a small firm, and that’s our preference. We operate discreetly, advising and constructively challenging clients. The hint is in our name. Our business isn’t about supplying teams of consultants; it’s about offering the profound, specific expertise of individuals who have extensive real world experience. We provide advice we stand behind—advice that has been successfully implemented by us for many years
